Last weekend, I volunteered to provide photography coverage of Dogtopia‘s annual charity dog wash. You know I LOVE dogs and of course, photography, so this was a perfect fit! During the 6-hour event, volunteers washed 116 dogs and raised $3,425 for Paws With A Cause! Paws With A Cause is a non-profit organization that trains assistance dogs for people with disabilities.
Check out this cute video coverage of the event by My Fox Carolinas. I even make a small cameo 33 seconds in!
If you didn’t know, Lovely & Light does offer pet photography sessions! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Here is what people had to say about the images from the event:
“These are phenomenal. I can’t thank you enough!” – Owner, Nicole
“Awesome photos! Thanks for being out there today. You captured the personality of the dogs perfectly.” Groomer, Stephanie

This pup was so tiny they had to remove the too-powerful nozzle and keep a firm hand on her slippery body.
This adventurous WBTV reporter sat in one of the tubs and asked to be hosed down on camera!
