Abylynn & Roland decided to elope after 18 years together. It happened at a private home on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. Just three witnesses and their pup were present for their elopement.
Being from Hawaii, Abylynn & Roland felt at home being married by the water, even if it was raining.
In fact, I rather liked the drizzle. The reflections were magical and the overcast skies made their skin glow.
One of my favorite elements of my work is setting the scene. If there is something unique about the day, such as the rain and upcoming holiday, I make sure to include that so that when they recall the day, they really feel it all over again.
Congratulations, A & R!
