If rain on your wedding day is good luck, Christine and Eli are the luckiest couple alive 😉
Midway through their nuptials, I stepped out into the rain to assist/second shoot for Lucy & Steven of Smitten and Hooked. All the guests cozied up under a large clear tent at a private home to hear “Crick” and Eli say, “I do.”
This wedding goes on the record as the wettest wedding I’ve photographed to date, BUT it was among the most entertaining and beautiful. Lucy, Steven and I were soaked to the bone, but we had a great time and so did the guests! I do love a rambunctious wedding reception!
And, just a note – brides, clear reception tents are where it’s at. With some strung lights, the ambiance was just lovely. It just would not have been the same with white.
